Jim Cassidy currently leads Preposterous Holdings, a family private equity office based in Asheville, North Carolina. Jim is known for enabling great leaders by providing both capital and effective growth strategies. Having worked with companies ranging from multinational corporations to local businesses he is actively involved in all phases of a company’s life cycle. Through his corporate career at UST and Smith Barney and his private equity ventures in over thirty companies he has been heavily involved in consumer products, healthcare, finance and technology, specifically in the roles of executive management, board member, investor, owner, and advisor. Jim is currently the Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors at MDWerks (MDWK) as well as a Board Member of Kaival Brands (KAVL). He has also served on the Boards of numerous other privately held and non-profit companies.
